Dr. Poursat was invited by Markes International to present his research at a masterclass on TD-GC-MS non-targeted analysis held in Bridgend on 21 October 2025. The event gathered both industrial and academic experts, fostering valuable discussions on analytical innovation and cross-sector collaboration. Dr. Poursat showcased the application of VOC profiling for system monitoring within the Gauldry septic tanks as part of the Decentralised Water Technology project.

This work is directly connected to his ongoing field campaign, which integrates on-site sampling and advanced analytical techniques to track process performance and environmental signals in real-world systems. This engagement strengthened networks across the analytical and environmental science communities, while highlighting the role of advanced TD-GC-MS techniques in understanding and optimising complex bioengineering systems.
